Accounting Clerk


The Gratiot County Road Commission is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time, non-union position. Applicants must possess a high school diploma, Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

The individual will be responsible for payroll, quarterly and yearly reporting, permits, accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory, answering phones and various other duties as assigned. Excellent organizational, communication, time management and cash handling skills are essential. Computer skills must include a full understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

This position will be under the general direction of the Finance Director/Clerk. Competitive wage and benefit package offered.
