Job Description:

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the assembly and integration of automated test equipment for the
Military/Aerospace, Medical Device, Consumer Electronics, and Automotive Industries. This position requires exceptional technical aptitude, strong supervision skills and the ability to work within a fast:paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

:Working supervisor of 4:8 skilled trades personnel.
:Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and pneumatic schematics for translation into finish products.
:Estimate work and develop schedules and plan manpower.
:Sequence and manage schedules to hit key milestones.
:Oversee multiple projects schedules simultaneously.
:Handle BOMs and work with Purchasing to ensure components are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
:Provide technical expertise and leadership to shop personnel.
:Work collaboratively with purchasing and engineering.
:Assists in the establishment of pricing and bid proposals.
:Employ creative problem:solving techniques.
:Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

:5:10 years of experience in a small:scale manufacturing facility.
:2:3 years of supervisory experience of skilled trades personnel.
:Technical degree.
:Automated Test Equipment, preferably including National Instrument platforms.
:Experience within Department of Defense / Military, Aerospace or Medical industries preferred.
:Must have strong. interpersonal and supervisory skills to monitor, direct skilled trades personnel.
:Possess technical skills for machining, assembly and wiring for computerized test equipment.
:Read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic schematics and translate into finished products.
:Be proficient in Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
:Able to work in a team:oriented environment with engineers, PMs and others.
:Creative and react positively to problems as they arise during the build cycle.
:Have a positive attitude and work ethic along with a hands:on approach to problem solving.
:Risk management astuteness, ability to identify and quantify project related risks.
:High level of concentration, alertness, and adaptability to change.

Compensation and Benefits:

:Exempt salary position range of 72,000:85,000 based on experience. Plus, comprehensive benefits package.
